PADI Scuba Diver Course
If your time is tight, PADI Scuba Diver and Referral programs offer you more options to get into diving. In both options you complete part of the Open Water course.
PADI Scuba Diver course can be completed in as little as two days. It is a pre-entry level certification - a limited licence. You will be qualified to dive under supervision of a PADI professional to the depth of 12 meters.
PADI Scuba Diver certification is an option if you can't finish your Open Water course or if you don't have the time to do the full course. You can upgrade to PADI Open Water Diver certification by completing the remainder of the PADI Open Water Diver course any time after your PADI Scuba Diver certification.
Scuba Diver course pool practice covers about two thirds of the skills in the full Open Water course.
Two open water training dives are required for the PADI Scuba Diver certification.
For PADI Scuba Diver certification you complete part - about 60% - of the PADI Open Water course:
-
one (1) review session (three chapters out of five for the academics)
-
one (1) pool session (three confined water modules out of five)
-
two (2) open water dives in one day out of four dives
Please see the PADI Open Water course page for prerequisites and further info.
