PSAI Instructor Trainer
PSAI Instructor Trainer Workshops for various levels are organized throughout the year. The programs are scheduled at least six months in advance. The Instructor Trainer Workshops are announced on the PSAI China website. You can also contact us for the schedules.
Instructor Trainer Candidate Requirements for attending an INSTRUCTOR TRAINER WORKSHOP
SPORT DIVER LEVEL PSAI PROGRAMS

Written approval from PSAI Global Headquarters to attend a specified ITW as an IT Candidate must be obtained prior to the ITW.

The IT Candidate must have been a PSAI Instructor, in active status for a minimum of one (1) full year, at the PSAI Instructor Level in the Program for which they desire to become an IT.

The IT Candidate must have taught a minimum of three (3) full PSAI Diver Level Courses in the PSAI Program for which they desire to become an Instructor Trainer.

Minimum Age is 21 years.
TECHNICAL DIVER LEVEL PSAI PROGRAMS

Written approval from PSAI Global Headquarters to attend a specified ITW as an IT Candidate must be obtained prior to the ITW.

The IT Candidate must have been a PSAI Instructor, in active status for a minimum of one (1) full year, at the PSAI Instructor Level in the Program for which they desire to become an IT.

The IT Candidate must have taught a minimum of five (5) full PSAI Diver Level Courses in the PSAI Program for which they desire to become an Instructor Trainer.

The IT Candidate must be certified as a PSAI Instructor Trainer at the next lower level (step) prior to being allowed to advance one PSAI IT Program Level (the next higher listed course).

The IT Candidate must have taught a minimum of three (3) Instructor Qualification Courses (IQC’s) for the previous (next lower Program Level) IT Level immediately below the level they are attending the ITW to upgrade their Instructor Trainer status.

Minimum Age is 21 years.
Instructor Trainer Crossover from other agencies
In order for an Instructor Trainer from another agency to become a PSAI Instructor Trainer, they should fulfill all PSAI Instructor Trainer Workshop Requirements and must attend a PSAI Instructor Trainer Workshop for the desired Instructor Trainer level.
